My Affair…
I’ve spent the weekend with a 17 year old boy… Harry Potter! I loved the new book. I’m a little obsessed with the Harry Potter books. I stood in line from 8 to 12:01 for the book but I’m happy to report that I was second in line. I came home and gorged on strawberries while I devoured the book.

- Dumbledore is a jerk! I cannot believe he was only concerned about Harry so Harry could die. Seriously what the hell? I was quite disillusioned.
- Snape is the true hero of these books. I wonder if the reason that Voldemort could never read his mind was that he was motivated by LOVE?
- Neville Longbottom is finally got the attention he deserved. That prophecy could have referred to him but Voldemort ignored it. In the end he, too, played a vital role.
- How did Neville pull out Godric Gryffendor’s sword if the goblin had run off with it?
I could say a lot more… but i won’t. LOL

I’ve been wondering about the sword thing too – must be a pretty angry goblin out there somewhere!
I loved the book too, but my hubby was the one who stood in line. I had to let him read it first though.

Hi! I just started reading your blog, but I already have to comment. I absolutely LOVE the Harry Potter books. The release date was my birthday and we were out of town, but the book should be arriving today and I have a feeling we’ll be spending as much of the weekend as possible reading it. I can’t wait to find out how it all ends! Have you seen the latest movie? I thought it was great.

Dumbledore didn’t know Harry was the 7th Horcrux till the 6th book, did he?

He knew it when he planned his death with Snape from the beginning of the sixth book at least. I suspect he knew before that.
